Sen. Andy Uba Mourns COAS, 10 Others Involved In A Crash, Condoles With Their Families, Calls For Investigation Into The Incident

The Senator who represented Anambra South Senatorial District in both the 7th and 8th Senate and a leading All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant for the forthcoming governorship election, Distinguished Senator Emmanuel Andy Uba, MFR (Igwebuike Anambra), has expressed sadness over the death of Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and 10 other Army Officers who died in a plan crash yesterday.

Expressing sadness over the loss, Senator Andy Uba praised the Late Chief of Army Staff for his virtues and attributes.

He stated that the late Chief of Army Staff did not only lived as a patriotic Nigerian but discharged his duties professionally with the fear of God.

He also commiserated with the families of the military officers who lost their lives and prayed that the Almighty God will not only console them but grant the departed souls eternal rest.

In his Condolence Message , Senator Andy Uba called on the Federal Government through the Minister of Aviation to kindly investigate fully into the incident.

“On behalf of my family, and entire Anambra State,  I commiserate with the Nigerian Armed Forces over the huge loss of it’s officers ” 
“The loss of lives of patriotic and committed Officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces is indeed a painful one”.
“Our prayers and condolences are with the families of the military officers. May their Souls rest in peace,” he said.
